Throughout the semester, we learned different patternmaking techniques. But the end we have learned how to create basic tops, pants, jackets, and how to manipulate the patterns to create our desired end design. I created a dress with style lines on the front and back, flared skirt and a ruffle on the bottom. I also created a matching sett. The top had a collar, an open back, a waistband, buttons, and flared sleeves. The bottoms were shorts that had a waistband and zipper on the side. I also designed a jacket that had flared sleeves, and flared at the bottom, but was secured by a button at the chest.
